Philip Plath is a lawyer at GERMELA Wülfing LLP and advises German companies nationwide on all issues relating to compliance as well as in national and international business law. He also advises entrepreneurs and individuals on commercial criminal law. He is a licensed attorney at all German district courts, regional courts, higher regional courts and the Federal High Court for Criminal Matters.
Already after his first state examination, Philip focused on criminal law advice in the course of his work for a renowned Hamburg criminal law firm. In addition, Philip spent several months working for a public prosecutor's office. There he has worked in the departments for white-collar crime and the Central Office for Organized Crime and Corruption. He also advises on foreign trade compliance and assists with market entry into the Middle East and North African countries, Russia and China, as well as the Middle East.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Plath is also a member of the Board of Directors of a European trust company and a European stock corporation (SE), bringing his expertise to international decision-makers.
