Dr. Tim La Fauci is a lawyer at WZR and specializes in advising internationally active companies in Commercial and Corporate Law. Another area of expertise is International Public Law and International Arbitration.
Already during his legal training Dr. La Fauci worked in projects of the Federal Government (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) and the Foreign Office on matters of International Arbitration and International Jurisdiction.
He completed his first state examination in law with a focus on EU Law and International Law in his hometown of Hamburg.
He then earned a master's degree in International Peace and Security Policy (Master of Peace and Security Studies M.A.) as a full scholarship holder of the German Foundation for Peace Research at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg. He also holds a doctorate in International Law from the Institute for International Affairs of the University of Hamburg.
Dr. La Fauci completed his legal traineeship in Berlin with stages at the Federal Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation as well as in an international law firm.
In his professional career, Dr. La Fauci continued to deepen his international focus and regularly advises clients on all matters relating to International Business Law, in particular mergers and acquisitions, international trading transactions and joint ventures as well as advising start-ups in Germany and abroad from foundation to exit.
Dr. La Fauci also worked for several years as a visiting lecturer at the University of Hamburg in the field of International Law and International Politics.
Dr. La Fauci speaks fluent English, French and German.
